Penn's New Look!
Panther Pride Murals
Mural Artist, Jenny Burgei has been busy adding some Panther Pride to our school.  Her panther murals in our front office have already excited students, staff and parents.  Ms. Burgei will continue her work this summer in the gym adding more Panther Pride by creating a new mural around the gym stage.  Check out this slide show of our new murals and stay tuned for pictures of future murals around Penn.

Summer Learning
Penn Summer Reading Lists 2015
It's Summer Reading Time! Remember, you can complete your summer reading by participating in your PWC Public Library Summer Reading Program or the Penn Elementary program from our website.  Grades K -2 must read a minimum of 5 books and Grades 3 -5 must have read 3 books.  Bring your documentation, signed by a parent/guardian, to school by Friday, September 4th and turn them in to your classroom teacher.  All students who complete their requirements will not only earn extra credit but will also receive a special summer reading charm for their Penn Charm Chain.  Which class will have the most summer readers?   Click on the link to view the suggested Summer Reading Lists for rising Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

Students who choose the option of participating in the Prince William Public Library summer reading program should read the number of books designated for their grade level:
Grades K-2 Read 5 books
Grades 3-5 Read 3 books
