Book Fair
It's a Book Fair Fiesta!
¡Vamos a Leer! Or Let’s Go Read at the Penn Book Fair!
Come to our Penn Book Fair beginning on Thursday, April 24th and continuing through Friday, May 2nd, where you will find these books and more for all of your eager readers. You are welcome to come anytime during the school day and we have several evening hours scheduled for your convenience. 
* Friday, April 25th - Penn's Annual Art and Music Family Night - Book Fair open 6:00pm - 8:30pm
* Monday, April 28th and Wednesday, April 30th - Book Fair open until 7:00pm
* Friday, May 2nd - Muffins for Mom - Book Fair will open at 8am - Final Day of Book Fair

If you are all booked up during Book Fair week (or just want to keep shopping), you can visit our Book Fair online at our  Book Fair Webpage.  The online Book Fair is available for an extended time from
April 19 - May 9

Attendance
Attendance is a simple way to help your child be  successful in school
*Your attitude toward school attendance and the importance of education sets the tone for your child's attitude.   *Establish a regular bedtime for your child and help your child prepare for the next school day the night before.    *Try to schedule doctor, dentist, and other appointments before or after school.    *Work in partnership with the school, attend conferences and school functions.

Now you can help connect your student to a state-certified teacher through Literati Public. The Online teacher will work through homework problems, step by step, until the student is finished. This is real time homework help, available at no cost through Literati Public at your public library.     


We here at Penn Elementary would like to send a big thank you to Lowes for donating paint sticks to the library. 
Each student is given a stick that has their ID number, reading level, user name and password for the reading programs used at school.
